drgigi Posted August 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2023 Would it be likely that Crystal would provide transportation into the city (theater district etc) from this terminal? Thank you.
Rare rafinmd Posted August 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2023 Is Serenity there overnight of just for a single day turnaround? Roy
Rare rafinmd Posted August 16, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2023 Also, if just one day are you on for both the cruise ending and the cruise leaving> Roy
Rare Keith1010 Posted August 17, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2023 Roy it is one day and the cruise ends a few days later in Miami. drgigi, you might want to ask your TA to contact on-board guest services to see if they can check and find out if the shuttle will have a drop off in Manhattan as unless anyone has already had their TA reach out we would be speculating on this. Rare rafinmd Posted August 21, 2023 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2023 I think this merits a second look. Serenity has disappeared from the Brooklyn schedule but is not shown on the Manhattan schedule so something crazy is going on. I did look at https://www.cruisetimetables.com/newyorkcitynewyorkschedule-29oct2023.html and see no reason why Serenity could not dock in Manhattan. Oasis will be docked in Bayonne and Manhattan should be able to handle the other 4 ships, Roy
happy cruising Posted August 22, 2023 #6 Share Posted August 22, 2023 Roy, suggest your travel advisor call Crystal to find out which cruise terminal the Serenity will be at on October 29.
MsCrystalina Posted August 24, 2023 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2023 A few years ago, when I did a transatlantic RT on Queen Mary 2 , their terminal in Brooklyn - Red Hook area- was like an old bus station. Bathrooms were "added ON' sitting on a raised platform in waiting area Certainly not what I expected with such a classy ship! The ship is too long to use the Manhattan piers. It may have been replaced since then- hope so. The old Crystal never had a shuttle from the pier and don't expect the new expensive one will!
