Equinox Fitness Center Bikes ?

Hello - we will be on our first Celebrity cruise on the Equinox in December. 

What type of exercise bikes are in the Fitness Center?   Peleton or other style?

Do these bikes accommodate SPD-compatible cleats/shoes  (Peleton or other style)?  Or do they only accept regular tennis shoes (using toe cages on the bikes)?

(trying to figure out what shoes to pack).

Lastly, do reservations need to be made to use the fitness center bikes or just walk-in?

There are 4 Peleton bikes on EQ. I believe you are supposed to reserve. Don't know about shoes.

In one of the previous roll calls there was mention they saw the peloton bikes being removed. 
 

certainly hope this isn’t the case. I haven’t heard any updates if bikes are still on. I know there were recalls to bike frame which I’m sure have been replaced.

We were on the Equinox the week of July 16. There were no clips, just the straps. No special shoes needed. Peloton bikes were first come, first served. There were 4, but they were never all operational. By the end of the cruise, all 4 had been removed☹️

You did have to have a peloton account in order to use one of the bikes.

Thanks for the info.  Hopefully someone who cruises on the Equinox between now and our cruise in December will have info. re:  current status of exercise bikes in the fitness center.

Things break and can be replaced but generally multiple ships had clips on one side and cages on there
