You found it! The shades are drawn whenever the ship is in port. It's a pretty cool view into the bridge and outside when you are at sea.

I decided to do the loop walk while I’m up here.

Wasn’t really a loop. You get to a point where you can’t go any further and have to turn around. It’s uphill going back.

I live in Canada and was just on an Alaska cruise this past June.  It was beautiful and I would visit again in a heart beat!
