Walk to cruise terminal RCL galveston

If staying close to the cruise terminal in Galveston is it possible to walk to the RCL terminal in Galveston?

 

How easy will it be to get Uber or Lyft on the day of cruising if I can't walk?

It’s too far a walk.

There are no hotels within walking distance.

There are no sidewalks.  Harborside entrance at 14th st. has 18 wheelers entering/leaving.  Haborside is the main thoroughfare to the ferry trucks and cars..  The port is industrial - not designed for walkers.

you might want to bring  up google maps and take a look at the RCL terminal and surrounding area.  There is a tab to show hotels, and another one to show restaurants.

We stayed at an Airbnb 15 mins away on foot. But it was so hot and humid we took an Uber to drop us at the street and walked the rest of the way to the port since that portion is covered.
