Plan B will be back of mind. I am confident about Mare, as it is operationally closed till the end of the year. I believe it will be business as usual from 1st January. For Isle of Pines, I am not as confident. Fingers crossed.

For the past season, many of the ships so far have doubled-up with extra days in Noumea. There is no ship booked there on 10th January.  As mentioned, Port Vila would also be a possibility, as long as the rhino beetles are behaving.

Two days in Beautiful Noumea ! That's not a over night  , two separate days . This is was been happening when cruise ships have New Caledonia as a destination , they do not change countries and say go to Vanuatu.
