Well, they certainly look homemade. My mother could have got them more even than that. In fact, I might on a good day. 🙂 Do they taste good?

They tasted very good. The one piece of meat had a vein in it rendering it inedible which was unfortunate because it was delicious.

If you mean the large black spots in this one, it's just where the water has pooled from the light rain shower we had.

This is what it looks like with no water pooling.

Yes, I realised the big black blob was water, but I thought the stuff between the planks might be something else. What did you think of the plastic prom deck on QE?

I didn't notice it at the time just because I didn't spend much time outside. I do prefer the wooden decks the classic ships have over the more modern ships.

Surprised QE wouldn't have the classical design.

I didn't really notice that the deck was plastic on QE.  I did like not getting splinters.

I don’t pick up my feet very well when I walk, and my shoes tended to get stuck against the plastic more than with teak. Not something I can really blame Cunard for.

I think it was money saving, or perhaps rainforest saving.

Money, its always money. There are plenty of environmentaly conscious things that cost money but somehow it is always the ones that save money that corporations seem to care about.

Freedom is out of the fanny packs and doesn't have the new VIFP gift in yet. When I go for mine I may ask if they can take note of it and give me extra later. But then I don't know why I really care. I have so many fanny packs, and will have so many of the next gift.
