Windy_Miller Posted September 8, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) We are excited to be going on this cruise but confused about the vaccinations required. We have done some research and require Hep A, Typhoid, Diphtheria, Tetanus and malaria tablets, cost about £206. As this is a cruise and will not be going far inland just looking for thoughts from those which are going on this Cruise or have already done the cruise. Thanks Derek Edited September 8, 2023 by Windy_Miller wrong word used
Rare Shiba_Lover Posted September 8, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) Probably better to speak to your doctor / nurse than seek medical advice on cruise critic. Your medical history is also a factor. I have been to all of the countries on this trip through work (and am doing this trip in Dec 2024) and the travel medicine nurse at my work explained WHY they were or were not recommended in conjunction with my medical history. You may have had tetanus in the last few years - it is often given if you've had a deep cut or scrape on something that is rusty/dirty. ela123 Posted September 8, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 8, 2023 You are best just to go to your doctors, that’s what we did. We went through everywhere we were going and they gave us what we needed. Don’t believe we had to pay anything for it.
