Car seat storage

Traveling by Uber to San Francisco for Alaska cruise on Ruby Princess. We will be bringing a car seat for a 4 year old. Will we be able to check with luggage when we arrive with porters?
  Can our cabin steward store it for us?  It will be in a zippered bag and include a luggage tag. 
I thought I read that if your luggage didn’t fit in cabin they could take and store it but I hope they can take this. Thank you.

You should be fine leaving it with a porter for delivery to the ship since you say it's in a holder and has a luggage tag. I would say the chances are about 99.99% that you will need to store it in the closet in your cabin.

There typically isn't luggage storage available. It will likely need to stay in your cabin somewhere.

Store it in your cabin closet. 

 

Your suitcases can be stored under the bed.
