Repositioning Amsterdam to Fort Lauderdale

Our first transatlantic coming up next month. Does the weather improve as you head south? On 6 sea days how many would allow for normal on deck activities like lounging or swimming?

Generally yes. However,  note this is still hurricane season. There are currently 2 hurricanes and one tropical depression active in the Atlantic. Who knows what could be going on during your cruise.

Sounds very exciting. There are not too many storm videos on YouTube. I am fairly sure the dinghy is sailed further south to avoid open sea storms when possible.
