Do cabins have a regular electric kettle as well as a coffee maker relying on pods?

First time Viking (Ocean) passenger here and very happy to read that our room will have a Nespresso maker.

 

What other options are there for drinking a nicely-made latte early in the morning? Is there a coffee bar open early (time)? Will room service deliver a latte?

The living room bar is your best bet by far. Beautifully made. Room service will be from a machine. 
 

I wake up early and make a journey on behalf of DW. ❤️

Agree! The best lattes are at the Living Room bar…worth the early morning trip to get one to start the day. After a couple days, the crew member knows you and starts the preparation without your asking!

And you can dream that you might just snag a pistachio roll while at the living room bar in the morning, although they seem to be rare of late.

My kryptonite is the Living Room Bar’s almond croissants.  DH also felt like the plain croissants were better there than in WC.

I have never seen a line….there may be a few people, but no real delay….there aren’t that many people who get up that early, unless there is a very early excursion.
