SyberCat Posted September 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2023 We're flying from LGW to Lisbon for a transatlantic cruise departing on Nov. 3. Which Lisbon airport is best to fly into/closest to the cruise terminal? Looking at a map, it looks like the terminal is equidistant between two airports. SyberCat Posted September 20, 2023 Author #2 Share Posted September 20, 2023 And I'm just realizing that this post should have been under "Other Mediterranean Ports"...apologies. Can a mod move? Thanks.

SyberCat Posted September 20, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted September 20, 2023 Thank you @VMax1700! I must have been seeing some smaller regional airports.
Cotswold Eagle Posted September 21, 2023 #6 Share Posted September 21, 2023 I think the other one you may have seen is Cascais (code CAT), which is a regional airport to the west of Lisbon. I think the only scheduled services are to other Portuguese destinations.
davekent Posted September 24, 2023 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2023 Just back this week from a trip to Lisbon. Transport is cheap and plentiful in Lisbon. Our prebooked car was 17 euros from the airport to our apartment in Alfama which was only around a 10 minutes walk to the cruise terminal. Taxis would probably be cheaper (booked the limo as some of the taxi drivers are reported to overcharge) and Uber is also an option so no real issues with regards transport from the airport
