Hi, we chose the early dining (6PM) option for our upcoming cruise on Ascent since anytime dining was not available anymore. Just wondering after we’re assigned a restaurant, are we allowed to dine at other restaurants for dinner? Or we HAVE to stick to our restaurant and time?

Havent been yet but from what others have said on the E class you can go whenever you would like because it is only anytime dining.

Although the booking system allows you to select early or late seating on the E class ships it is all anytime dining.

 

The booking system is designed for the S and M class ships which have 1 MDR.  On the E class, with its 4 MDRs, the fixed dining didn’t work well as most wanted to try all 4 dining rooms.

At the present time, it is Anytime Dining.  You may go to any of the 4 dining rooms whenever you want to dine.  If you arrive around 6:30-6:45, you may have a wait.

They don’t need to get it changed all dining on the E class ships is anytime dining.  The outdated computer system is in need of an update and shows fixed dining which is only on S and  M class ships.

No, not on Ascent
