travelbug67 Posted October 6, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2023 Wondering if there are tours you can book at the port through a tourist bureau or if it would be better to book a tour ahead of time.

Rare MissiCruzs Posted December 7, 2023 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2023 I was just there Nov 29, 2023. There's a taxi stand and my understanding from people who went there is they were only offering 4 hour tours for $50 euros pp. There may have been more offerings once you exit the port. I didn't see anyone hanging around on the other side. We did a sea excursion so didn't go out on the island. I expect this will change eventually as more ships traveling from America go there. The guys on our tour boat said you should be able to get a taxi to Gosier Beach area for 15 euros and then there's a water taxi from there out to some island. I would arrange for a taxi online if that's what you want to do.
mustafabalcony Posted March 6 #4 Share Posted March 6 There's plenty of taxis in the cruise port. I didn't see any outside of it. There's also public buses that go to Le Gosier beach for 1,80€

Walked back to the ship! 😂😱😳
mustafabalcony Posted October 14 #6 Share Posted October 14 Hi Senga We were in Guadeloupe earlier this year and had no problem getting a bus to and from LeGosier beach. The island now has an app for the public buses and it shows the bus stops etc. The app is called Karulis
