Entry to "Lap Pool" on Grand class

This pool adjacent to the Lotus Spa, appears to have a graduated entry into water - certainly a good thing for people with limited mobility. But, it also appears that the only way to access this pool is from deck 16, by using a flight of stairs down. Is there a way to access this pool for deck 15, perhaps barrier free? On Diamond Princess, in particular?

Am I missing something? Based on this, the spa and the lap pool are accessed on Deck 15.

You may need to go through the Spa to access the pool on Deck 15. Even though most things in the Spa require payment, you don't need to pay to pass through to the pool.

The lotus pool  is not barrier free nor does it have an ADA compliant chair lift for pool or hot tubs.   Access from the Lotus Spa area requires going up 3-4 steps to get to the deck surrounding the pool, then up several more steps to get to the pool itself, then down several steps into the pool. The floor of the pool is NOT level and can be difficult to stand on as the side area slope In significantly towards the center

 

That said this is probably my favorite pool area on Grand Class ships

Seating is also fairly limited unless you walk up to the next deck.
