Thanks for the coverage, Bird!

We are on the December 6th Panama Canal sailing, and I was wondering if you might be able to find out what the entertainment in the theater will be once Footloose is done? Will they move the Beatles cover band, or do the Broadway Melodies assortment as a main event?

I understand that the Wheel of Fortune sets will be installed during dry dock.

The Beatles now appearing in The Cavern Club.

The Bird has attended Beatles shows on all ships that have. Cavern Club, including performances of Beatles tribute group from the real Caven club on Liverpool on opening night on the Epic. These lads on the Joy were not the best.

For longer cruises, NCL books a lot of guest entertainers to fill the nights. Performers that fly in, perform for a night or two, and disembark. The production manager is leaving with the footloose cast and don’t know (or care) about what was being done after they leave.

Getting on tomorrow. Is the casino tight?

Any rumours on covid cases?

Thanks.

Bob,

If you know Video Poler, this Double Double table is favorable.

The Bird cruises 5-6 times a year and there is COVID on every cruise. A lot of people pick it up at the airport and on planes and bring it onboard. By Day 5 (that’s today) you hear more ill people and masks start to appear.

The Bird has not noticed many/any crew with masks which used to be required when recovering from COVID or with very close contact.

The Featured Beach on this cruise was Clearwater Beach. In addition to the main beach, you go on a short walk to the Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve and the NASA tracking station. There, there are a series of 5 additional coves/beaches with pristine waters.

The Bird is using interior photos from www.cruisedeckplans.com, apparently taken when someone was touring an empty ship.

@Stevekscruiser The Bird is deeply offended and hurt by your totally baseless accusations of copywriter infringement.

YOU ARE 100% WRONG!!!!!!

100% of the photos posted are The Bird’s personal photos and screencaps taken over the past 5 days. There are two exceptions. The photos of the Joy in post #1 which are The Bird’s personal photos taken of the Joy sailing Endicott Arm and the Route Map from NCL.

The Bird devotes 5-8 hours a day taking several thousands of photos and mashing them up with menus and information from the ship. The Bird focuses on proactively posting the information most frequently asked on Cruise Critic.

@Stevekscruiser, Shall I say that again. The photos of the ship were taken by The Bird over the past 5 days.

@Stevekscruiser You better get your facts straight before making accusations again!!!!!

My apologies. Amazing work never having a single person in any frame. The interior photos seemed identical. Have you looked through them?  I meant no disrespect, but was just answering a query.  I acted impulsively and I can see how you would take offense. So sorry.

indeed. that is full pay DDB. but what’s missing is the denomination. I’d expect a 9/6 pay table at $5 or, possibly, $1 and up. it would be most unusual to have full pay DDB at the 25 cent denomination on a cruise ship. I play mostly ultimate X on NCL ships. the pay tables are decent and UX spreads out the variance.

thanks for the photos and the updates.

I’ll be on board tomorrow.

Love the sneak peek of our first Daily☺️

Wish you  were staying on for  a B2B!  It sounds like a couple of cabins will be available due the lack of passports......

We are boarding today. 😍 Thank you for posting the Daily for today. That was extra thoughtful and much appreciated!

Have a safe and wonderful cruise!

Similar to the entire cruise, we were fashionably late arriving. Yesterday, the Captain said the plan was to pass the SOL at 6:15… it was more like 7:00 and we were just cleared for disembarkation.

The Social (Deck 6 midship)  for entertainment menus and reservations

Teppanyaki for Restaurant Reservations (today and all days)
