Just wondering the differences between these 2 beach clubs, besides Boatyard having water toys of which we would not use.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Have only patronized Boatyard. Admission price includes transport back to cruise ship and 1 drink along with lounger & umbrella. Well maintained & clean, lockers & shower available. There is a restaurant on site.

Recommend you avoid both, expensive rip-off venues.  Just walk the beach and choose your spot, don't be forced to sit 4 rows back from the sea in a congestion area for twice the price of elsewhere along the beach.   Taxis vans from the port try to take passengers to either the Boatyard or Harbor Lights as they are paid an incentive for their business.......avoid,  avoid

Great post!! Absolutely true, both of them suck. As one of my CC pals has stated previously. If one plans to spend their day on Barbados with S.H.T. and T'erds go for it.(Thanks PORT ROYAL!!)

Go hop on a cat. sail for the day too many other nice tours to take than to sit sardine canned on Carlisle Beach at the Boatyard with a ton and I mean a TON of S.H.T. and another 500 T'erds.

Barbados is AWESOME and so is PORT ROYAL!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Do you need reservations  for The Boatyard? I've been many years ago and can't remember.

You do not need reservations but go early if there are a lot of ships in port.  We were there recently and arrived at 8:30 a.m., by 9:00 there was a large line and later in the morning they were still allowing people in but there were not chairs or umbrellas left.
