Car rental LAX to San Pedro?

Need to rent a car upon arrival to visit someone but then would like to drop it off near the port or a hotel near the port.

any car rental suggestions with a location near the port?

Hertz and Enterprise have offices in San Pedro close to the port.

I believe both offices are closed on Sundays and only open in the morning on Saturdays..

Does Hertz provide a shuttle to/from the cruise terminal?  Thank you.

We dropped off a car at the SP Hertz office across the street from the Crowne Plaza a few years ago. Based on the size of that office, I would highly doubt that they would offer any kind of shuttle, but you'd be advised to call them and ask. If you are mobile, it's a pretty short walk to the terminals, maybe 15 minutes.  You could drop off your party at the ship, return the car, then walk back to the ship?
