Yes, if your phone plan works for Wi-Fi calling in that country. We had no problem at sea. Texting was never a problem as I recall.

Yacht Club included, no streaming. Verizon unlimited, US/Canada/Mexico on iPhone.

Thanks.  We'll have the same plan on our February cruise and I am considering upgrading at least one of our four devices.  I've had issues with streaming and posting to CC on Celebrity & Royal Caribbean unless on their Premium plan.

I don't know what the situation is like on other ships, but I will say that the Browse wifi on the Meravgilia has been better than the premium wifi I paid for on the Summit. Can't stream YouTube with the Browse wifi on MSC, but it definitely works way better than the 90s dial-up level wifi on the Summit.

Have not sailed on Summit but we had excellent Wifi on our Millennium Cruise. 

Here are the speeds I was getting.  We fortunately had a wireless access point right outside the door to our cabin.

Last week on Seaside there were times I could not het good enough signal for wifi calling. But overall it worked .
