Miami hotel near port

Anyone suggest a reasonable hotel please.   We will by flying into Miami staying the night then heading to port next morning.  Are we better off at airport.?   Would really like some where with places to eat and a store to purchase wine and soda for cruise.  Doesn’t have to be fancy just clean.  Any suggestions would be gratefully received and thank you.

No need to buy soda and wine if you are going on MSC. Can't bring it. Cheapest hotel by the port is probably the Holiday Inn by Bayside which will be about $300.

Thanks so much.   Will check it out now.  Just to confuse matters we are doing a Carnival cruise first and then MSC after, so needed wine for there.

We stayed at this place after our cruise last January.  I booked on their website for the best price and then found a Thanksgiving special that was a bigger room for a lower price. It was a 15-20 min Uber from the port. They have an on-site restaurant, but at the time, the service was SUPER slow.  They also have a free happy hour.

Check out Holiday Inn Port of Miami!  It is across the street from Bay Side Market with multiple restaurants and there is a CVS right around the corner from the hotel that sales alcohol.
