MSC Seashore: MDS open for breakfast and lunch?

Hi all,

 

going on our first MSC out of Cape Canaveral cruise in 25 days now, and starting to plan. Have a couple of questions:

 

1) Is the MDR open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or only for dinner?

 

2) Seashore has three MDRs. I know the menus are the same, but is there any preference which one is better? 5th Avenue, Central park, Manhattan or Tribeca?

You will be assigned a dining room on your key card at check-in. There will be a dining room open for breakfast daily (may not be the one listed on your key card), lunch on sea days, and you go to your assigned dining room for dinner. If you are in the Yacht Club then you will have food options available within the enclave

One of the MDRs will be open for breakfast every day.  
My programs for Seaside in August show one restaurant open for lunch for an hour on both the Nassau day and the sea day.  EM

Boarded Seashore last Sunday for 25 nights.   The open dining room for lunch and breakfast has been what they are calling "Alternative Buffet".  It's a less hectic buffet of starters, cold items, etc., and finally, desserts.   You can order a hot main dish from a very small menu.

 

Some samples attached.  Will be interesting to see if they keep the concept on US departures.  

 

Note that today is the first port day (Barcelona) that the dining room will not be open for lunch, according to the daily.  It's been open for every other port day.
