Taxi at Malaga

In a port call at Malaga, I’ll need to get to the train station for a 9:12 a.m. departure. Do taxis typically meet the ship? Or should I book one in advance (how?).

There will be some taxis at the port, but the unknown is whether there will be enough (first come first serve).   If you cannot (or will not) change the reservation than we suggest you arrange for a private transfer through somebody who is reliable.

As I had read, 35 euro Port - Station or Airport.

Ask for waiting time. This is, providing you ask for a taxi at 10:00, taxi will stay there and time between 10:00 and the time you enter in the taxi will be billed

No way should a taxi from the port to train station cost 35 Euro.  We are talking about a ride of about 1 mile!  On the other hand, desperate folks do desperate things :).

Sorry and I agree with you.

 

I searched fares and that price is if you want a prepaid taxi to the airport.

 

For the station, just regular fare PLUS waiting time.

It is 20 euro/hour (19,65 euro/hour to be accurate)

 

This is, if you call a taxi for 8:00 and you aren't out of the ship until 8:30, just add 10 euro to the taxi bill. Taxi will be for you at 8:00

 

To call a taxi, just search on google "taxi malaga" and phone any number.

Taxi drivers are joined to different taxi unions. Different phone numbers but all of them are official drivers and it doesn't matter which one (fares are the same).
