For those who recommended taking the train...I think its best for us to get to the Boston area the day before we sail. I guess we would take the train and then Uber to a hotel and Uber to the port? I have to check because I don't know where we would get the train in NJ. I seem to remember looking once and there was no direct train plus we would have to leave our car and pay to park...I assume. You could take NJ Transit into NY Penn station, and then Amtrak to Boston from there.

Where in NJ are you? We take Amtrak from Newark Penn, takes you to Boston.

How much is it to leave your car in Newark? I'm wondering if we can take the train from Metro Park to Newark. I've only been on that train once to NY and I'm pretty sure we stopped at Newark Penn. If so, we could have someone drive us to Metro Park.
