Size….Im all for smaller ships. I personally think these jumbos are going to be limited to where they go turning off more and more cruisers. I’m disappointed NCL is going bigger….give me an updated Jewel class ship …..having seen the update to the Spirit…..that’s now in my future. Big things come in small packages😝

Well you might be too young to remember…..a certain after shave…..called

I have memories of it sitting at the breakfast table smelling on my father.😎

Interestingly, Leo#4 is missing from this list, an earlier post had build #6301. Also looks like a tight schedule after the Aqua

Very Interesting!!!  Check the delivery date-- April 2025.  We are supposed to sail from Southampton on 28 March 2025.  Looks like The Aqua may already have a delay.  Wonder how much of a delay.

I was looking around the web to see if anyone knows the name of Leo #4 and found this, not sure what the date is but it has the Aqua listed.

Also, been lurking around to find any updates on the Aqua since NCL, but for some strange reason isn't posting anything.

See you aboard the Aqua TA in March

Jim,

The Prima and Viva Delivery dates, I think are close to correct.  In order for our March 28 cruise to take place on time, The Aqua's delivery date would have to be early March which is Not what the chart says.  I am confused at this point.

Typical NCL confusion, I'll be sailing soon and ask the crew what's going on with the new ship. Last year a GM mentioned Syd's moving downstairs to a spot in the casino, well the spot still says more to come. An FB manager mentioned new theme restaurants and that was officially announced by NCL, way too early to be concerned.

Are people hopeful all will be OK and sailing date will go ahead.

My opinion, yes she will be done before the March sail date, it looks like the shipyard is super busy with all the recent Fincantieri new build announcements. So there doesn't appear to be any supply chain issues that affected Viva and maybe she will be done ahead of time.

Well I went ahead and booked Prima for Jan 2026….awaiting #4. I sure hope I love this class of ship. Now to consider the Jewel out of Philadelphia to hold me over till #4 which I’m predicting delivery in Oct 2026. Maybe a cross the pond sailing? I’d love to do the inaugural…..but these days schedules don’t seem to be met.

I hope anyone on the Aqua inaugural or crossing does a review on how ready the ship was.

In the meantime….more pictures paleeeeeze 🤓

@RMS Olympic Leo #4, or should we say hull #6302 is scheduled for June 6, 2026, but you never know what may happen between now and then. Enjoy the Prima, it's a little wonky inside but once you do several laps the layout should look normal, and pray for warm and dry weather.

@BrownEyedGirl686 Welcome to the no-news NCL, if it wasn't for some folks leaving on the geo trackers there may be no pictures

June 2026 works for me. With so many European ports cutting back on big ship visits, perhaps Leo #4 will turn her bow west instead of a summer in Europe. I was surprised to see the new Star Princess starting service in the fall of 2025 will not go back to Europe in 2026, but head to Alaska. Maybe NCL will send Leo #4 to Alaska and then down to Australia…..or run her in the Panama Canal route❤️❤️❤️

Aint speculation fun🤪

As far as being wonky….just my style after a few tasty beverages….wonky is as wonky does👹

Well that’s rather frustrating - hoping to book on the new ship as soon as it’s released

  • 3 weeks later...

I have needs! Pictures, or a name or a date…..something paleeze!

Cruiseinfo addiction withdrawal is not a pretty sight.😱

But since the complete deck plans on the Aqua are yet to be published…. Shouldn’t be surprised.
But an update would be like a bag of Hershey kisses……quickly devoured 😛

@RMS Olympic As the saying goes, the information well has gone dry. 224 days away from the TA out of Southampton and now NCL has that cruise as an insider cruise trying to attract interest. Current pricing is far more now than what we paid.
