Should we just take a cab from Coxen Hole to Daniel Johnson's?

To book transportation & entry thru them is $30pp.

Entry is $12pp so they are essentially charging $36 RT transportation.

Much cheaper to grab a cab at the port or not really?

If you're getting transportation and entry for $30 pp how is RT transportation $36 pp?

As I recall, taxi fare 1 way is around $25 for 2 people and an additional $10 for each passenger 3 or more people total. Advantage is you don't have to wait for others and taxis move a bit quicker.

There'll be a wait time charge at Daniel's.  Around $7 per hour, I have heard.

So cheaper by having Daniel's arrange transportation and entry, but a little faster RT via a taxi.

Taxi on the island are not really regaulated and some of of are fair dodgy. Maybe email a few with websites to find out their fees.

RT & entry is $30 pp.--looks like a good deal to me!
