luggage storage on disembarkation

This is our 1st Seabourn cruise. We're disembarking in Lisbon and have a very late flight, so we're planning to spend the day in town. According to Seabourn's call center, they don't offer any kind of luggage storage after we disembark - does anyone know anything different? In the past when we've had a late flight we just hung out in a hotel lobby, but this time we want to ditch our bags.

Thank you.

If you arrange flights with Seabourn Air they will handle the transfer - and for late night flights before they have provided a day room with transport from the ship to hotel, and then hotel to airport.  We last did this a couple years ago, so it may have changed (more recently we have done their disembarkation transfer where there will provide lunch and a group waiting area such as a conference room at a hotel for afternoon departures).  Worth looking into, and sometimes the airfares are better through Seabourn.

Dayrooms are notoriously hard to find - most hotel groups do not offer them. A few years ago we had a very early pre-cruise arrival in Lisbon after a very late night at a family event. We wanted somewhere to rest and store our luggage. We found a dayroom at the Raddison near the airport through a website dayrooms dot com . A clean probably 3 star hotel which suited our needs (though food was lousy) for the day.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I did speak w/Seabourn's air dept. but they said they don't help w/anything post-cruise. I suspect that onboard the only offers will be for excursions, which we totally don't want. I guess we'll try to speak w/some hotels directly.

There are luggage storage lockers available at the Lisbon Airport, pre-security.  That may be the most cost-effective option and you only need to move your luggage once...ship to airport.  Then you can relax and enjoy Lisbon knowing your luggage is already at the airport ready for you to return and check-in for your flight.

Google "Baggage services Lisbon Airport".
