Then I would get in line as early as possible the minute you see anyone else standing outside the doors. The other option is trying the aft dining room as it has more tables and many people avoid it due to the location

I went to all three dining rooms. Princess offers open dining. There is no need to make a solo wait three hours when there's shared seating. And this doesn't fix the fact that on my first Princess cruise, I could not get seated for dinner. On other lines, like NCL, if it's your first time your card is a different color and the staff makes an effort to have things go smoothly so as not to leave a first impression like this one.

after some great days without a reservation at DaVinci I tried to check Bortelli out again as I preferred a private table tonight

 

again took me around 25 minutes, nobody checked us in line for a shared table or how many we are. 
 

but I did mention the issue on the feedback form and the Restaurant Manager called me back tonight (actually tracked my medallion this morning but we missed each other), to discuss that issue. 
he was totally unaware off it, but was going to look into it and offered to see if he could get me a table at DaVinci 

 

so leave the feedback they are taking notices of it!
