NCL Getaway January 2, 2024 Wondering where the ship will dock in Puerto Plata?

I am sailing. on the NCL Getaway on January 2, 2024 and wondering where we will be docking. I thought Taino Bay but see nothing on schedules for either port?

I have been asking the same question for a while and have not received any definitive answer.

The NCL website says their ships dock at Amber Cove (under the "Ports" page for Dominican Republic.) However, some CC members say they have docked at Taino Bay. 

 

I guess the correct answer is..."who knows?"

Amber Cove ship calendar: https://www.ambercove.com/Port-Schedule.aspx if you see a norwegian ship listed, it will dock at amber cove. If not, it will dock at Taino Bay

most of the time, that is true.

 

however, on my recent cruise on the joy, we were not scheduled for amber cove, but it was announced the day before that we'd be docking there. no reason was ever given.
