I guess things have changed a lot. We used to be able to enter our information way before the cruise date. Now about 6 weeks?

Check in opens 45 days before departure.

You used to be able to enter all your information so that that information was all filled in when you went to check in. That is no longer the case. You now have to wait until check-in starts to enter all of your information.

at that time you will also need to select an arrival time to the terminal.

Both the planner and the app will tell you the exact check in date.
