When you place an order on OceanNow do you need to stay in the spot where you ordered it from until it arrives or do they find you wherever you may be?  Ie….order a drink while playing in the casino then retire to your stateroom before the drink comes…will they deliver the drink to your stateroom?

That’s the intention with the medallions, but with how slow delivery can be I wouldn’t count on it working. I know they advertise it but I also think I’d feel bad making the staff chase me around the ship lol

definitely on this ship right now imo.

they’re good. I haven’t “bonded” with any bartenders yet like I always do on Carnival, but the closest I’ve come so far is in Club 6. I’ve only had one drink at Crooners and they seemed really good. I’ve got one bartender I love at Good Spirits and one that I’ll essentially avoid the bar if he’s working.

good question. Haven’t done that yet. I’ve moved machines in the casino and they’ve found me. I can usually spot them scanning the area for me. I probably wouldn’t do that but it would be an interesting experiment

Do it with water. Don’t play around with your alcohol.

Thanks for teaching me the stash move. That’s a game changer. I wish we could pull something off like that on Carnival. I mean, I guess we could, just the whole five minute thing.

I do it sometimes. First you gotta find out which bars/bartenders don’t open the cans. Then on a day you aren’t going to hit your limit, visit them. A sneaky one is the pizza place if you happen to be going there anyway or have a room on lido. Of course you could also walk around the bars late with a cup ordering shots and pouring them into it. I’ve only stashed beers but it’s an idea.

Is the ship sailing full? Your pics seem to give me the impression that the lounges and bar areas are fairly empty.  Looks nice actually.................

Yep. Sure is. Capacity is listed at a little over 3600 and Captain announced we’re at 3900+ (so I assume quad occupancy w families)… honestly ship does well handling crowds IMHO

yeah I feel like telling a bartender I’d like to get a couple beers to enjoy in my room later wouldn’t be a problem. Maybe I’ll find out in May, I have a balcony for 10 days on Venezia
