Online Check-In- cash account option?

We have been cruising on other cruise lines and going on our first RC cruise for Christmas. One important issue we ran into - when doing our online check-in on the App, there's no option to choose a cash account for our onboard expenses (like other lines).

Is this just not an option with Royal Caribbean?

It is but you need to do it on board.

You can't do it during online check-in. But go to guest services when you board and they'll accommodate.

Thank you. And now for the silly question - if we don't check in online, how will we get our boarding passes and luggage tags?

You'll get a SetSail pass at the pier and get luggage tags 30 days out in the planner.

Unless you don't have a credit card, I would still check in online with a credit card, then convert it to a cash account on board.

You can get your SetSail at the terminal and also the porters have luggage tags. They'll hand them to you and just write your name and cabin number on them....Easy...We always get our tags at the terminal.

Yes. It's asking us for our card details in order to continue the online check-in process. But we wish to have a cash account.

I normally get a boarding time with the app and fill out other stuff later.  Can't remember if the boarding pass will show up with just the time selected or you need to complete all the checkin details.
