wwcruisers Posted November 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2023 We have the Hampton Inn Brickell booked for our pre-cruise night, in February. I don't see anything on their website about shuttle service (free or for a set fee) to/from MIA -- or to the Port of Miami. Anybody know whether they offer these services -- or are we on our own, to Uber/Cab it? Thanks!
CruiserBruce Posted November 28, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2023 Don't believe they have one from the airport. To the port they do have one...a couple of years ago it was $8pp. You could easily call them to confirm. It is also very easy to take the light vrail from the airport..it drops you about 2 blocks from the hotel.
Janedoe2012 Posted November 28, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2023 I stayed at Hampton Brickell last year and took the light rail from the airport. They do not offer airport shuttles. I would recommend an Uber vs the light rail service for a couple of reasons 1) The rail service terminal was a longgggggg walk from the arrivals area 2) I had to switch trains to get to Brickell. It was a weekend, early evening and a long wait to board both trains. The hotel does offer shuttles to the cruiseport. I think I paid $10. When you check in, they have sign up sheets for different times. The shuttle was good however the driver made a stop at another hotel further away from cruise out then the Hampton. I have used Uber to the cruise port on other trips and paid under $20. If you have Hilton Honours points, you can redeem them for Lyft vouchers and use them instead of Uber.. ( prior to booking the ride). The Hampton is a great hotel! Enjoy your stay.
