Carnival Horizon - Which Cabin Should I Choose?

Need some opinions/comments/input on the pros and cons of Cabin 2387 and Cabin 8331?

8331 is probably the better choice.  Its between 2 floors with cabins only so you are insulated from noise.   Its also easy to go up and down to various activities from decks 7 or 8.  Deck 2 is below the restaurants and galley so may have some overhead noise.   We've sailed on Deck 8 on Horizon and enjoyed the balcony.  The Cove balcony on 2 will put you closer to the water though and I think those balconies typically cost a bit less.

Agree with 80sGal.  We always try for cabins above and below.

 

But on the Horizon, I would go for a Habana cabin.  That is such a nice and relaxing area on the Horizon.

We just got off the Horizon in October. We were on deck 2. I would definitely take the higher deck to avoid the elevators all together

We absolutely love cove balconies but it looks like 2387 might be under the galley.  I've heard that can be noisy.  We've been in a cove balcony under the dining room and it was perfect.  We'd hear a bit of noise if we were in the room in the early evening (like they were moving things/cleaning, maybe vacuuming, the dining room at close) but after that, totally quiet.
