Every time I get close to using Flights by Celebrity, I read a srory like this one.  I think I'll just beek booking my own flights.

Thanks for following up as this was part of the missing info.  Of all the flight issues one can experience, this is fairly common and airlines almost always give you the option to cancel and be refunded which would kill this reservation, and then you could make a new reservation

 

I've always questioned how much FBC is allowed to spend in the event one's original flight was canceled by the airline last minute and that airline doesn't have any options; would FBC book one onto another flight on a different airline if the now last-minute fare was 5x expensive?
