Venezia overnight in NY

Venezia spent the night in NYC last night. I just caught a glimpse on the webcam of its passing toward the Verrazano Narrows bridge at 7 am (EST) this morning. Was that planned? Did it have anything to do with the stormy weather, air travel delaying passenger arrivals? Mechanical issues?

John Heald reported that it was delayed due to strong winds in the harbor. 

 

I wonder if they opened up Cheers on time this morning?

It was pretty nasty here in NY last night - still a bit of rain and wind this a.m.  I am sure CCL did their best to placate the people on that cruise.
