Hello All,

We are scheduled there 7am to 4pm. Anyone have recommendations? I am sure this is a tender port and my sister and I have never been. We are physically able but not necessary the fittest! Any idea , inputs really appreciated!!

Yes Airlie Beach is a tender port. If you want to go out to the Great Barrier Reef, you will need to do a ship's excursion as private excursions do not fit in with the time the cruise ship is at Airlie Beach. The ship's excursion's boats pick you up and return from and to the ship.

Perhaps do a google search for ideas of what you can do in Airlie Beach. There will be shuttles to take you from the tender pier into the town.
