Does anyone have a recommendations for a good hotel/resort on Waikiki beach prior to and after our NCL cruise in March?

If you scroll down there are countless threads on this. It will depend on your budget and what amenities you want. My personal favorites are The Royal Hawaiian and Halekulani but they are at the higher end of the price range. 

 

If you give us more information there are a bunch of us here that can provide more pointed recs.

Halekulani, Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider, Hilton Hawaiian Village (choose your Tower carefully), Outrigger Reef, Outrigger Waikiki, Hyatt Regency, Park Shore Waikiki.

We stayed at Waikiki Holiday Inn Express prior to NCL cruise in 2022. Good price for area, very adequate hotel, within walking distance of everything, excellent free breakfast. We did Diamond Head by public bus from hotel and hung out on Waikiki beach afterward. This year we are staying at Royal Hawaiian pre NCL cruise. Much more expensive but we were really taken with the place after having lunch there last time. Incredible vibe.

We stayed at the Hilton last summer. Beach was nice, but crowded.  They also had a lagoon.
