Wife question about Luminae

The Dress code mentions no Sandals in Luminae at dinner, does that include dress sandals?  She can’t imagine all of the ladies in the retreat wearing closed toe Shoes.

Dress sandals are fine, just no rubber flip-flops (and everyone knows exactly what those are).  I have never worn a closed-toe shoe in Luminae, MDR, or specialty restaurant.

She will be fine with dress sandals.  Actually, I wonder if anyone has been denied seating in Luminae while wearing flip flops.  Any personal experience out there?

I usually wear "dressy" flat sandals at dinner in luminae and have never, ever had a problem. At lunch I may wear Chaco's or some similar more casual sandal or maybe my athletic shoes. No problems.

Think “beachwear” rubber flip flops.  Avoid those🩴
