Water temperatures

Going on a cruise to Hawaii in February and looking at snorkeling excursion. It looks like water temperature is around 80 degrees. Has anyone done this excursion in February and if so, did you find it uncomfortable due to water temp?  Also, it would be to see sea turtles, are they there in winter? Thanks

Have traveled to Hawaii nearly every month if the year, and swam, snorkeled,  or surfed every visit.  We always find the water temp comfortable. But that is a subjective determination. You might feel differently.

80° is about the same temperature as a competitive pool. It is not cold.
