Back to Back cruises from different ports

We are arriving in Miami on Seabourn 3/24 and departing the same day on Celebrity from Fort Lauderdale.  Based on comments from people traveling between the two cities It looks like our best option for transportation is to take an Uber or Lyft.  We've never cruised from either port before, so I wanted to ask for any feedback or suggestions.

First, it's not a B2B, it's more like a side to side (S2S), but even that's a stretch as you are changing ports.

 

Yes, discussed here frequently.  Uber/Lyft would be the likely choice. Taxi next.

Fare for standard Lyft or UberX should be about $50+ - hopefully surge pricing will not push that up, but you should not be in the early rush to get off your first ship.

We did this once in opposite direction. Took an Uber without any problem. As mentioned, no need to hurry off ship.
