Hilo Volcano National Park Excursions

We’re planning to take an independent tour from Hilo that includes Volcano National Park. We have looked at tours from C Big Island Tours, Mauka Makai Adventures and Shore Excursions Group. We’d appreciate any recommendations and insights from those who have used these vendors. Mahalo!

Shore Excursions Group is a broker, not a provider. It is commonly suggested here to avoid brokers, and book direct with recommended local vendors.

Shore Excursions is a division of Robert's Hawaii, Hawaii's oldest tour company. If Shore Excursions were based in Seattle or London or something like that I might agree with avoiding them, but Robert's has the local contacts and relationships that they make sense to me.
