Does back discount apply when you go from one Celebrity ship to another?  Same port, same day.

No only same ship.  Switching ships you are on side to side cruises, not back to back.

Once on board, the salesperson told me that to get the discount, the interval between the two cruises must not be more than 2 days.

We got it on a side to side cruise sailing next month. Same day disembarkation and boarding another Celebrity ship. I didn't think so either but we thought it wouldn't hurt to ask and lo and behold the answer was yes.

I have just done this. They refer to it as a "consecutive cruise" discount. Applicable to same ship or different ship. We got ours for Silhouette/Beyond/Beyond for all three legs.

$50 or $100 for each leg depending on cruise length.

We're doing the 2025 Eclipse Repo then its Bermuda/Charleston run.  Each 10 days.  We got $100/leg.
