Rare POA1 Posted January 30 #1 Share Posted January 30 I was all excited to see that Easter Brunch in the Pinnacle Grill showed up as bookable for our cruise. It only shows on the HAL website, not in the app. So, I clicked on the link, to get an idea of what we had available to us. We're figuring that the $10 premium above the cost of the regular PG lunch means we're we're in for something special! Oh, good. A sample menu. Let's see what wondrous Easter treats are in store. Some times I feel like I am Wile E. Coyote and the HAL website is the Road Runner. Meep Meep!
Rare cruisemom42 Posted January 30 #2 Share Posted January 30 Last year's Easter Brunch in the Pinnacle Grill menu (onboard Westerdam, cruising around Japan): And a photo of dessert: If you and @Huskerchick attend and indulge in your dessert competition, make sure you pick this one. Just sayin'....
Rare Haljo1935 Posted January 31 #3 Share Posted January 31 The menu and dessert pic from @Hlitner last Easter look great. impatiently waiting to see what you have. I've not cruised at Easter, so generally looking forward to your Live 😊

Rare whogo Posted January 31 #8 Share Posted January 31 Ah, marketing speak. You say Nutella and HAL says hazelnut cream.
Rare Vict0riann Posted January 31 #9 Share Posted January 31 (edited) We had Easter Brunch in the PG on Rotterdam last year, but it was that 150th anniversary cruise, so I don't know if it was extra special! Sorry, I see it is the same as Cruisemom's menu - I should have read before posting! Edited January 31 by Vict0riann
KAKcruiser Posted January 31 #10 Share Posted January 31 Do they have a special Easter brunch or dinner in the MDR?
Real NHDOC Posted January 31 #11 Share Posted January 31 I’ve not been impressed with the special brunch they serve in PG for various holidays. Personally I find they have enough trouble maintaining quality when they stick to their standard menu and anytime they deviate it’s never much better than the free brunch they serve in the MDR. The last one we had was a New Year’s Day brunch and it was so bad they didn’t charge us for it and I still felt I had overpaid.
Taters Posted February 1 #12 Share Posted February 1 (edited) We had it on Oosterdam last spring. It looks like the same menu that Vict0riann had on Rotterdam. Edited February 1 by Taters
Real NHDOC Posted February 1 #13 Share Posted February 1 (edited) That looks like the same brunch menu they offered on New Year’s day on Zaandam. Edited February 1 by Real NHDOC
KAKcruiser Posted February 1 #14 Share Posted February 1 Does anyone know if anything special is planned for the main dining room?
