Last night of cruise

What is the latest you can use your loot on the last night of cruise?

Anytime before you get off the ship and something is still open. We purchased bottomless mimosas at breakfast on debark morning to try and kill our bar tab. 
 

If you wanted shopping specifically I think they close around 11pm night before departure.

You can purchase alcohol or specialty drinks thru room service till 2am.

as someone else above noted, shops close ~11pm and casino may be open a bit later; HOWEVER (big however!), if something happens that requires the ship to speed up to Miami early, everything will close earlier than that.  i've seen people fuming that they couldn't use their loot because there was a medical emergency and the ship got out of international waters several hours earlier than expected.

Shops generally close about 10 or 11pm, casino will be at least 2am unless you pull into port weirdly early (unlikely unless on a repositioning cruise).

The other caveat I'll throw in here is that they might shut things down early on some cruises.  I don't remember the reason they gave, but I think some rule in Australia required our ship to shut the shops and casino down a day or so early before we got to Sydney.  I don't know if it was related to it being a repositioning that had started in another country, or some other reason.

 

They did give fair warning it was happening, though, so you wouldn't just be blindsided if they did shut them down early.

Its because that route sails too close to the coast of Australia. They do everything they can to keep the ships out of territorial waters so they can get every last dollar out of you, but things and certain itineraries can change those plans.
