Jules7226 Posted January 31 #1 Share Posted January 31 (edited) We are bringing friends on this cruise and would like to do the Barcardi tour. My husband and I did it like 10 years ago and I remember it being fairly inexpensive. I saw a lot of posts saying to book the tour online ahead of time, but the prices are WAY higher than I remember. For those who have been there recently, is the tour really $80 now?!?! Edited January 31 by Jules7226 typo
Clubber Posted February 19 #2 Share Posted February 19 (edited) The historical tour is $40. The tasting tour is $80. The prices have definitely gone up in the last several years. Here is their ticket prices. https://www.bacardi.com/casa-bacardi/tickets/ Edited February 19 by Clubber
KeywestK Posted July 28 #3 Share Posted July 28 I’m interested in touring Bacardi Rum when we’re there in February on Symphony. So far, the cruise planner has not offered it as an excursion, and I’d consider buying admission tour tickets directly from Bacardi, but not until I know how far and how expensive it would be to get there. Does anyone have insight on this?
PORT ROYAL Posted July 29 #4 Share Posted July 29 Was - Pre COVID Ferry from Pier 2 OSJ to Catano (every 30 minutes) - think was $1.00 US dollar per person return - Purchase tickets from the kiosk on Pier 2 - Grey Building - Journey maximum of 35 minutes - Taxi from Catano to Distillery about $20 including tip. Plenty of taxis from Distillery to Catano Book one’s timed Tour in Advance - Just purchase the basic tour and buy oneself a bottle of decent local (not Bacardi) Rum (will be cheaper and better than what is offered during the “tastings”).
