Polynesian Culture Center luau..HELP

We are on POA next month for the 11 day land/sea cruise. A visit to the culture center is included as a part of the tour. However the luau and show is not included. I was told there is a number to call and purchase this part.  However they don't seem to understand what I am trying to say when I call the culture center. Does anyone have such a number or have I been misinformed? I tried to book online but just the luau and AH show is not an option. Also can anyone recommend a Half way to Hana tour?  Thanks!!

The luau is a dinner (buffet) show. HA begins soon after and ends 9ish.

As you mentioned you can't book either without a package. Best to call them, they may of a "secret" option for you.

Your NCL excursion would have gone back to Waikiki already, so you'll need to figure out how to get back. It's a 45 minute drive back to Waikiki and Uber on the PCC side of the island may be limited that time of night.

Thank you for your replies.  The PCC gave me a number to call that books the luau and show for POA passengers and includes ride back to hotel.  Problem is I can't get the lady to answer the phone.  I have left I don't know how many messages and have been calling every day.  Guess I will call PCC and see if there are any other options.

Why would it matter?

Agree, it doesn't matter, but to clear up any confusion, its the Mormons, aka the Church of Later day saints. We thoroughly enjoyed the PCC and were not evangelized, pitched religion or anything. Our tour guide called us family, Ohna, which is a Hawaiian thing and also important part of Mormon life as I understand it, I did not find any issues with this at all. The Mormons are generally good people even if I don't align with their beliefs.

I suspect that most of the guides are Mormon students earning money, paying tuition, but who knows and who cares.

As for the question on the original thread and the POA package, I can't help, but don't give up trying, the Luau and HA show are worth the effort, and you definitely want to use the bus transport back after the show. BTW, don't forget that getting phone calls from HI might be a challenge depending on your time zone. Also maybe its something Norwegian can help with.

More to the point, a lot of the workers at the PCC who are students at BYU Hawaii are from the cultures they represent. The LDS church did/does a good job evangelizing in the South Pacific with taking over the culture as my Congregational ancestors did in Hawaii.

Back to the original question….

You can book at the link below.  You’ll have everything you need with the Luau Package…even if you don’t need it all, the price for the luau and “HA” Show is more than worth it!  HAVE FUN!  😃

As mentioned earlier, you will still need to arrange transportation back to the ship on your own after the show.

I can’t help you with Hana, because we had a local tour guide take us and we stopped wherever he recommended.  It was an unforgettable day!

What did your Congregational Ancestors do to Hawaii?
