Tote Bags Given on Celebrity?

We received the tote bag on Ascent last week (Feb 4-11 cruise out of FLL). Ours had unfortunately been used by the previous cruisers for wet clothes, as it had a VERY unpleasant damp smell. So I asked Guest Relations, and it was replaced immediately by our cabin steward. We had an Oceanview room (one rank up from an interior...so nothing fancy): 3113. My guess is if we got the tote, then everyone else likely did too.

We were in the Iconic on Beyond 29 Jan 24 cruise and had to ask for our tote bags twice. When they finally came there basic without the usual zipper pouch.

 

our butler and suite attendant were both awesome so we chalked this issue up to a corp decision.

Definitely not a corporate decision. Either they were low/out of stock on the ship or they just didn't bother to request the proper items.
