Skagway: Same-Day Chilkoot Charter & Temsco Glacier Heli Tour - Possible?

Hi everyone,

 

Planning a cruise and Skagway is our port on June 10th, 2025 (7am-8pm). We're an adventurous family of 4 (boys 9 & 16) hoping to squeeze in BOTH the Chilkoot Charter Bennett Scenic Journey (8hrs, 7:30am-3:30pm) AND a Temsco Glacier Discovery helicopter tour in the afternoon.

 

Question: Is this realistic? Has anyone done both in one day? Any insights or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

 

Backup Plan: If not feasible, we'll shift the heli tour to Juneau on June 11th (our whale watching day, if possible).

My thinking is that Skagway has less chance for weather canceling than Juneau. Surprised at helo after 3:30. We took helo in Skagway and it was great and long time ago. Seems like it will work if they let you schedule it.
