Live From Oasis of the Seas 2/18-2/25!

Recommended Posts

Loved this review and it made me book the Oasis! Of course not until Feb 2026 (my vacation time is quite minimal at the moment) but I’m excited none the less! Wishing you a good night and easy drive out of Miami in the am!

Very nice, though the chairs need cushions. I should have thought that would be a very popular space. I was also going to ask about a library, but you preempted me. What a shame it has gone.

What if any significance do the numbers after the name of the dish you are eating have?

The times each dish arrived. I add to provide context to the pace of the meal. Service has been very efficient tho cruise.

You're going to love it! Amazing ship and lots of time to look forward to it 😊

I looked into QE for Alaska. Amazimg prices if i can luck out and find bargain airfare I may have to book that one. Flights are just such a big and expensive pain.

Thank you very much for sharing your time on Oasis with us. I’ve enjoyed following along with you. I’m glad you were able to get the points you needed to qualify for your next casino cruise.

Thanks for following along 😀

Yea does not look comfy. I don't think many know how to find the space.

Unfortunate about the library.

Thanks for taking us along! It definitely helped get through the week for it to be my turn on oasis now. Been a few years since being on her and can't wait. How much time we'll be in the casino this week is to be determined. Lol

Made it home. I was successful beating the traffic before the masses emerged. There is a short window to make that happen. I love to wake up, enjoy a final breakfast in the dining room, one last free coffee, let the ship clear out, and then disembark at last call.

Just not an option in Miami, even avoiding the line off the ship, you won't be avoiding the line of people trying to leave the port, even if driving and not dependent on ride share.

Signage is easy to follow and I find I have been navigating in and out better using signs instead of GPS.

Walking back with my luggage was challenging with all the extra weight but I made it.

Right back into reality as I work this morning but I will post my wrap up and final thoughts in the next day or so.

Safe travels home. Enjoyed following along! I'm sad it's over. Looking forward to our cruise in April. When is your next cruise?

Thanks for following along 😀. I enjoyed taking you. Enjoy Oasis, she was a wonderful ship with a great crew.

Next cruise is in March On Celebrity Constellation 12 day Central America and Caribbean cruise. I'll be bringing my mom along on that one.

Enjoy your cruise!

The casino was pretty empty all week. I've never seen a casino on Royal so empty, but then again I am usually on a sailing on the casino list, so maybe that was the difference but they seemed staffed up like they were expecting more. I went through on a sea day at noon and it was almost completely empty still 😱. Makes it more enticing to want to play when you can have your pick of machines.

Enjoy your time onboard and I hope if you do decide to play the casino will be as kind, or kinder, to you as it was to me!

I shall be very interested to see your final thoughts. In addition, I should be interested to know the extent that this giant ship differs from lesser RCL ones such as Anthem, which I think is sometimes based at Soton. Strangely, although I hate the lack of connection with the sea and am not any sort of gambler, I have found more to like on Oasis than on your other voyages (not Cunard, obviously), even down to consistency of cruets. 😀

I look forward very much to accompanying you and your ma vicariously on your next jaunt.

Are you doing a Live for that one? I'll have to leave a post-it since I don't spend any time on that board. I need to follow along with all of your mom's shopping trips! We mainly sail Indy & Freedom as it fits best with the school calendar. We did Symphony during the "lift and shift" phase so the ships weren't very full. I've never experienced leaving a full Oasis-class ship! We normally disembark late since we live in Hollywood, but I'd imagine it would be better to get off early in order to get an Uber. Thanks for another fun Live 😀

What point list did you end up landing on for your sailing? Any early idea of the sailing you're going to choose?

He had to get permission from the families in the crowd to sing this one. It's almost midnight and you're in a bar...for God sakes put the kids to bed and give the adults some space...

Naw until RC starts reducing the cost for kids they are going everywhere they are allowed at what ever time they are allowed 🙂
