This info alone makes me glad that I followed along. I'm often up at 5a.m. even on vacation so knowing where the coffee is helps. Which WiFi plan are you using?

We did a spring break cruise on Mardi Gras in 2022. We heard some wild stories but fortunately we didn't see most of the antics. We stayed away from pools and hot tubs that week (except the hot tubs by Serenity a couple times). 🙂

It is what it is.  We would not sail spring break cruises for many reasons.  This one we dis for two specific reasons, two of our daughters and their families can only travel this week in non summer break week cruises.  We are fine with it.  What happened next, not so much.

We have late dining in the Palm restaurant.  Our dining time is 7:45pm.  Every other assigned dining time cruise on the this ship we were in the Flamingo restaurant.  For what it is worth.  The Palm upper level (and maybe more on early seating) are for Any time dining.

When we normally lead groups, prior to the cruise, we work with the groups department on seating (number of tables, size of tables), things like that.  On this cruise, we had a bunch that were doing ATD and (16 of us, mostly our family, and some friends) that wanted late seating (not my favorite, but cruising with family, so what the heck).

We had asked foe two tables of 8, and when we got on we found we had not gotten that.   We went sown to the Palm restaurant and met with one of the asst maitre’d and they told us they would take care of it. They did.

First night, as is always the case, time to get to assigned table all the newness, etc, service can be a little disjointed.

Not so much our table, but the other table, the service seemed to lag.  Meh, no biggie.

Last night, the opposite was the case.  We were seated at 7:45 (our assigned time), got some water and we linked the menu from our phones to pick what we wanted.

We knew this was first cruise elegant night and while there are many dining options on the MG, this would probably be the busiest night.
