dlphn501 Posted February 21 #1 Share Posted February 21 What is a good shoe to wear for the waterfalls? I know they say closed toe and closed back. I heard others have worn water shoes, but I don't think that would be very comfortable for all the hiking and climbing that gets done.
Rare mitsugirly Posted February 23 #2 Share Posted February 23 We took an old pair of shoes with a good grip on them when we went several months ago. Our teenager wore water shoes with a thin sole. I did see plenty of people with water shoes on. The hiking is mostly level ground and stairs. We only took old shoes because 1) my hubby didn't have any water shoes and had an old pair of tennis shoes he was about to throw out and 2) I have mobility issues and needed more support than what water shoes can give me on a hike. HERE is my review with tons of pictures so you can see what it's like. Scroll down to post #85 where the tour begins.
